The ACRL-Delaware Valley Chapter is a chapter of the Association of College & Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association. Founded in 1951, it is the oldest local ACRL chapter and serves library and information professionals in college, university, and research organizations in eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.

The Chapter’s goal is “to promote library and information services and library and information professionals in college, university and research organizations within the Delaware Valley” as stated in its constitution.

The Chapter offers educational programs, a mentoring program, and an annual stipend for graduate studies in preparation for work in academic libraries. Membership is open to individuals, with a discounted membership fee offered to current members of ACRL. Program participation is open to anyone.
